Chickens were immunized with purified recombinant protein G lacking the albumin binding region. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction purified. Antibodies were immunoaffinity-purified from a protein G agarose column and conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate.
