Source
Chickens were immunized with highly purified Toxin B purified from Clostridium difficile. After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY purified. Anti-Clostridium difficile Toxin B was immunoaffinity purified using the immunogen immobilized on a solid support.
Product
Egg-yolk derived affinity purified IgY in phosphate buffered saline‚ pH 7.2 with 0.075% sodium azide
Product Form: Affinity purified
Concentration: See vial for concentration.
Applications
This antibody is suitable for ELISA and Western Blotting procedures. By Direct ELISA, the half-point titre was 1:20,000 using a 2 ug/ml coating of Toxin B. This antibody has also been successfully used in cytotoxicity and neutralization assays (please see embedded image). Optimal working dilutions should be determined for your particular assay conditions.
Storage
Product should be stored at -20°C. Aliquot to avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Shipping Conditions: Ship at ambient temperature
